Angel Alba (ES)

Angel is a consultant specialist in strategic innovation and accelerating innovation processes and projects. Innovation coach of the European Commission for the SME Instrument.

He has more than 20,000 hours of experience in innovation projects. He worked at Procter & Gamble for 7 years and after that he worked as Managing Director of the first Tech Center of KIBS in ES. In 2012 he launched his own consultancy start-up, called Innolandia.es, achiving +140 clients in 7 countries in 4 years.

He is certified innovation consultant and professor for the EOI Foundation (under the Ministry of Industry), working in several innovation and entrepreneurships projects and courses.

He is specialist in helping organizations and entrepreneurs to innovate sustainable and continuously and in designing new products and services with agile tools such as Design Thinking and Lean Start-up.

Jari Kaivo-oja (FI)

Mr Jari Kaivo-oja is an expert in the field of foresight and innovation management. He is Research Director at Finland Futures Research Centre, at TSE of University of Turku. He is adjunct professor at the University of Helsinki (Faculty of Science) and at the University of Lapland (Faculty of Social Sciences). He has worked in various foresight research projects for the European Commission (FP 6, FP 7, and Horizon 2020), European Parliament, European Foundation, Nordic Innovation Centre, Tekes – the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation and the Academy of Finland. He is respected research fellow in European science forums, being among other things, Skłodowska-Curie science program´s evaluator in 2016 and evaluator of various EU research programmes.

Javier Carrillo-Hermosilla (ES)

Javier Carrillo-Hermosilla is a Full Professor in the Department of Economics and Business Management at the University of Alcalá (UAH), where he leads the INNOGREEN Research group on eco-innovation and circular economy. He is also an associate researcher at IAES and the Banco Santander Chair of Corporate Responsibility, a member of the Innovation Council at IFI, and a fellow at the Centre for European Studies Jean Monnet at IE University.

He has served as Head of the Department of Economics at IE Business School, where he co-founded the Center for Eco-Intelligent Management, and has held visiting researcher and professor positions at international institutions. His research focuses on eco-innovation and the circular economy, with numerous publications and active participation in media and conferences. He holds a PhD in Economics from UAH and an MBA with Honors from IE Business School.

Alberto Arroyo Schnell (ES/BE)

As a Senior Policy Manager, he helps to channel the knowledge and research results of the International Union for Conservation of the Nature’s network into the EU Environmental Policy debate. Based in Brussels, he also plays a facilitation role in institutional, civil and socioeconomic stakeholders discussions. In his vision, innovation policy is key to help us solve our societal and environmental challenges.

Susan Feitoza (ES/US)

Healthcare entrepreneur and Founding Fellow in MOEBIO Design Health Barcelona, the first Stanford affiliated interdisciplinary program in Spain creating a disruptive, ecosystem to train future health technology innovators. Business development and management skills in innovation design, healthcare and scientific communications. Connector linking industry (healthcare/pharma/medtech), academia, associations and institutions in business and nonprofit sectors. Operations and change management expert, who served as former Executive Director of AmChamSpain and led non-profit, member based organization to profitability and operational excellence. Prior position as Institutional Relations Director at Thomson Reuters, biomedical communications/STM/data science sector. Native of New York, USA and long-term resident in Iberia having lived in both Spain and Portugal. Thrive in diversity with multi-functional, international teams. Regularly work as consultant, mentor and advisor.
