Capacities and capabilities are better developed in view of major societal and technological changes (e.g. AI, machine learning, VR/AR, aging society, gig/collaborative economy, etc.).
Typically, capacity building is promoted through training and mentoring. Training courses can be established to combine perspectives on the ecosystem and its dimensions, leadership and challenge driven ecosystem governance (e.g. platform and circular economy).
